Cancellations, Refunds and Renewal

We would rather you stayed because the system works for you, not because leaving is difficult. So cancelling is simple, and your data leaves with you.
1. The trial
There is a free trial with no credit card. If you do not continue, nothing is charged — you do not have to cancel actively to avoid a charge.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel at any time, in writing to info@decaleap.com or through your account manager. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: access, data and export remain available until then.
3. Refunds
On annual billing you have 30 days from the charge to cancel and take a full refund, no reason needed. It is the same policy we run on Parallels products, and it is wider than the right the law gives you.
After those 30 days, a period already begun is not refunded pro rata unless a signed agreement says otherwise. You can still cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period already paid for.
If you were charged in error — a duplicate, a module you did not order, or a user you had already removed — we correct it and refund the difference in full.
4. Removing a module or reducing users
You can remove a module or deactivate a user at any time. The billing effect applies from the next renewal; there is no pro-rata credit inside a period paid in advance.
5. Renewal
An account has a single renewal date. A reminder goes out around 30 days beforehand with the expected amount, so there is time to change scope before the renewal runs.
After the renewal date there is a 14-day grace period during which the service keeps working. If payment has not arrived by the end of it, the account moves to a reduced state — data is retained and export stays open.
6. What happens to data after you leave
Export stays open to you until closure, and you can ask for a full copy. After that, data is deleted in line with the privacy policy.
7. Israeli Consumer Protection Law
The Consumer Protection Law (1981) gives a right to cancel a distance sale, and for a continuing transaction, to cancel it at any stage. That right stands alongside this page and is not reduced by it.
Note that the law applies to a consumer, not to a transaction between two businesses. DecaLeap is sold to companies and sole traders, so in most of our engagements the commercial terms are what govern. Where the law does apply, it prevails.
